Native American Partnerships

Introduction

As hemp-related economies continue to develop in the U.S., many Native American tribes have been at the forefront of hemp innovation. For those who are non-Native and interested in partnering with or otherwise supporting tribal projects, doing so in ways that are informed, respectful and culturally competent is important. Developed by Laurie Arnold (Colville) with Anne Sinkey and Joy Adams (OSU Center for Advancing DEI in Business), these online, self-paced trainings were created to offer an introduction to cultural competency, tribal sovereignty and the historical context of some potential tribal partners in the U.S. west.
